As managed service providers take on more responsibility for clients’ power and network uptime, Cyber Power Systems is extending cloud visibility deeper into their infrastructure. The company introduced PowerPanel Cloud Pro and PowerPanel Gateway, tools designed to give remote oversight of both new and aging uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and power distribution units (PDUs)—devices that keep servers running when power fails or fluctuates.
The new software allows MSPs and IT teams to monitor an unlimited number of power devices from a single online dashboard. It also supports multi-user access and flexible billing, making it easier to manage clients with equipment spread across multiple locations.
CyberPower announced the products on October 22, 2025, describing PowerPanel Cloud Pro as an expanded version of its 2021 monitoring platform with new support for unlimited device connections, third-party integration, and centralized account management. The companion PowerPanel Gateway app, available as a free download, lets users connect older CyberPower and compatible third-party UPS systems to the cloud without additional hardware—bringing legacy gear into modern remote-monitoring systems.
The move underscores a broader shift toward vendor-neutral power management, giving MSPs a more scalable way to monitor energy resilience alongside traditional IT infrastructure.
